A lot of people wonder why they should buy camping chairs. Why dont we just buy regular chairs instead, they work just fine at home, they might ask.
There are so many reasons to choose a camping chair over a regular chair, that i could talk all day about it. In this article i will focus on a few of the reasons.
Lets start with the most important reason first. This is of course a reason that has to do with the camping itself. For campers, there are two things that are important when choosing gear; weight and size. Camping chairs are made for this.
If you tried to bring a normal chair to a camping trip, I can guarantee that you would run into a few problems with its size, especially for the long trips. Remember that most camping chairs are folding. This makes them a lot easier to transport and carry.
The most important feature of a camping chair is without a doubt that it is folding. Some of them are so well made that they can be folded into unbelievable small sizes.
A camping chair does not have to be the same thing as another camping chair however. There are hundreds of different designs and they are all meant to be used for different things. On one hand you have the light and very small camping stools meant for long walks and on the other hand you have the luxurious and comfortable chairs that is mainly meant for relaxing in the camp.
But it is not only for camping that camping chairs are useful. You can use them for a lot of other things as well. The classic example is if you are throwing party at home, and you are a few chairs short. In this situation the camping chair that you have in the garage really comes in handy.
Of course there are plenty of other situations where a camping chair will come in handy. The thing is that they are chairs, but take less space.
